The gym is split into two areas – a heavier lifting section for traditional strength training, and a quieter, more private area where Fran works with her clients.

 

Both spaces are fully equipped for strength training, conditioning, and mobility work, with mirrors for movement awareness rather than posing.

At Yorkshire Kettlebell Club, we’ve built our gym around the tools that get results — no pointless machines taking up space, no clutter, just kit that works. Here’s some of what you’ll train with:

  • Squat racks and bench press cage – solid, secure, and fully adjustable for safe, heavy lifting whether you’re squatting, pressing, or benching

  • Assorted barbells, power bars, and deadlift bar – giving you the right tool for the lift, from explosive pulls to maximum-strength squats and presses

  • Safety squat bar – keeps training comfortable while protecting your shoulders and wrists

  • Both competition and traditional cast iron kettlebells – full range, from beginner to advanced weights for precise progression

  • Dumbbells to 50kg – from light to heavy for everything from rehab to max-strength work

  • Adjustable benches – flat, incline, and decline

  • Cable machines and Limitless Free Trainer – versatile for presses, rows, pulldowns, face pulls, triceps work, and controlled functional training

  • Leg press, pendulum squat and leg extension machines – to build lower body strength and muscle safely

  • Pull-up bars and TRX suspension trainers – for bodyweight training and stability work

  • Heavy sandbags, atlas stones, slam balls, log press bar, and other strongman kit – real-world strength tools for full-body power

  • Punch bag, battle ropes, and resistance bands – for conditioning and accessory exercises

  • Plyo boxes and mats – for step-ups, core work, stretching, and mobility training
